We're not strong on the "unknown unknowns." Donald Rumsfeld popularized the idea that we're sure that we know certain things - the "known knowns;" we're aware that we don't know other things - the "known unknowns;" but we must accept the likelihood that we don't even know all the things we don't know - the "unknown unknowns."
