Man's problem is sin. Redemption through Jesus is the solution. But is there a problem with the solution? Christ didn't just come to die for our sins, and rise again - He came, He died, He rose according to the Scriptures. But those same Scriptures make promises to Israel that can't be fulfilled if they reject Him. That's the challenge Paul is so masterfully addressing in Romans 9. The questions are: Who is a Jew, really? and, What did God promise, really?
