Jesus didn't come to give us "fire insurance." So what is His gift? Too often we oversimplify God's gift to us through Christ. We think of it as "salvation," or even "eternal life," by which we mean an escape from hell. And that's important! ...but the life He offers is His own, divine life, lived through us. It's a life powered and led by the Holy Spirit.
