A new Priest, a new law, a new covenant! As we get to Hebrews 7 in our reading, we get the feeling that Paul (or whoever you think wrote the letter) is trying to pulverize any pretext for returning to Judaism. So far he's proven from the Scriptures that Jesus is superior to Moses, to Abraham, even to angels - and he's continuing to elevate Christ above all human priests.
