But they were ignorant of the biggest subject of all - and they had admitted as much. Now, where to begin his explanation? They were so uninformed that Paul couldn't use the Scriptures to make his case; he had to start from the basics: the nature of God, and Creation. We might playfully call it, "The gospel for dummies."
