We might call one lost sheep out of a flock of a hundred an "acceptable loss ratio." God calls it an emergency. Today we're beginning a series focused on Stories and Parables Jesus Told. And our first stop on this journey is really a trio of comparisons showing God's joy at recovering the lost. These stories were pointed at the Pharisees, who apparently saw some people as not worth the effort to save.
