Christians who have died haven't missed the Rapture! Our brothers and sisters who've gone on to glory before us haven't missed anything - except the troubles of living in a lost world! Satan had found a gap in the knowledge of the church in Thessalonica, and he was exploiting it. Paul wanted to step in and plug that gap.
