Under Moses a great multitude escaped the land of slavery, but most of them never made it to the place of rest. We're moving forward in our Hebrews series with a message called, Give it a Rest! Jesus said, "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest." And we who have responded to His invitation have experienced that rest. But the writer of Hebrews assures us, "there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God." If you would say your life is marked by stress, rather than rest, this word is for you.
