What happens when - not if, but when - a church leader sins? God is a realist. When He gave us standards for elders and deacons, He also gave us processes for dealing with their failures. And if we would employ those procedures instead of trying to sweep things under the rug, the Lord could use even these faith-shaking episodes of human weakness to redeem and restore people.
