If you're too holy to pray for your own needs, Jesus has a word for you: "Ask." The word "pray" in fact means "ask," and we already know that the Father wants us to pray. So He says, through His Son, "Ask - and keep asking." It may seem like a low-level relationship to come to God because we need things, but maybe that's where we have to start.
