The king who became a beast. Nebuchadnezzar didn't "lose his mind;" he threw it away. He forfeited his sanity when he refused to humble himself before God. As Paul would write to the Romans much later, "...since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind...." So Daniel, chapter 4 isn't just a story about one, proud king, long ago. It's the story of all of humanity. Jim will open this sermon with prayer.
